Player Birth State Trends in the WPHL

WPHL (Western Professional Hockey League) is a former minor pro league, which ceased its operations in 2001 after five seasons. Birth state distribution was quite stable during the league's 5-year existence. Michigan, Massachusetts and Minnesota accounted for over 40 percent of U.S.-born players in all seasons.
