WPHL Birth Province Breakdown

WPHL (Western Professional Hockey League) was a North American professional hockey league that ceased operations in 2001 after five seasons. The relative proportions of player birth provinces did not change much during the five seasons with players from Ontario, Alberta and Quebec making up over 60 percent of the Canadian born players.

The chart below shows the relative proportions of different birth provinces in the WPHL between the 1996-1997 and 2000-2001 seasons. The data used in the chart can be found on the birth province totals statistics pages.
