SDHL Nationality Breakdown

The SDHL (Svenska Damhockeyligan) is the highest level women's ice hockey league in Sweden. The proportion of import players has grown quickly since the 2013-2014 season when Swedish players still made up 85% of the player material. Over the following decade, the proportion of foreign players increased to around 40%. Import players in the SDHL mainly come from Canada, Finland, Czechia, and Norway.
