Ligue Magnus is the highest ice hockey league in France, with the proportion of domestic players remaining steadily around 60%. The league also features a significant number of Canadian players, the majority of whom come from Canada's French-speaking region. In terms of players from other European countries, the league has been particularly popular among Finns, Czechs, and Slovaks.
