Suomen Sarja Nationality Breakdown
Suomen Sarja (eng. Finland's League) was the second highest hockey league in Finland until the establishment of I-Divisioona in 1974. Three foreign players competed in the Suomen Sarja between the 1962-1963 and 1973-1974 seasons: Canadians Danny Malone and Doug Kowel, and the 1960 Squaw Valley olympic bronze medalist Nikolai Karpov, who came from the Soviet Union to coach Vehmaan Urheilijat.
